With summer slowly arriving, smoothies are a great breakfast option. It’s certainly the case in my home, though we enjoy them all year round. They help you kick start your day, provide vitamins and fibre and set you on the right path straight out of bed.
This smoothie is my daughter’s favourite recipe so far. It’s very fruity and sweet so it makes it child friendly but it’s also packed with vitamin C, anti-oxidants and lots more thanks to the goji berry Super food! Goji berries are truly amazing. They have been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine. They are loaded with vitamin C, Beta-carotene and they also contains iron, zinc, calcium, fibre, the list goes on. Among other things, they help boosting your immune system and have anti-ageing properties. Not only that but they also taste good. You can add them to smoothies or eat them as a snack on their own.
